
Sedan Reliability Ratings 2010 – The 15 Most Reliable Family Sedans at Various Age Ranges
By converting Consumer Union’s reliability ratings of “Much Better than Average,” “Better than Average,” “Average,” “Worse than Average,” and “Much Worse than Average” to grade points 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0, respectively, for each model year of each family sedan providing the necessary data, a 2010 Family Sedan Reliability Grade Point Average may be obtained for age ranges 0-to-4 years, 2-to-6 years, 4-to-8 years, and 6-to-10 years. These Car Reliability GPAs provide a multi-year reliability summary for each family sedan with sufficient data.
By these car Reliability GPAs, the fifteen most reliable family sedans for each of the age ranges may be selected.
